- This is a black and white photo of a cow standing in the fenced grassy yard of someone's home in Thessalon. A number of wooden homes and buildings can be seen in the distance.
- Notes
- An early town census indicates that a by-law was passed allowing the free roaming of cows between set hours only, requiring them to be penned or tethered after dusk.
