A black and white photo of July 12th (Orangeman's Day)Celebrations.This event was a regular celebration back in the early 1900s all along the North Shore. This particular event is said to have attracted the largest crowds ever. There were bands, plenty of food, and "King Billy" arrived on his white horse.

Many buildings are clearly identifiable, on the west side of the street is the Moorehouse (later the Sinton) Hotel, the Barrett Block, the Grist Mill, Quinns Bakery, as well as the Town Hall at the corner of Lorne and Main.
