Officers Meeting A meeting of the officers of the 37th Haldimand Rifles was held in the Court House, Cayuga, on Saturday last with a good attendance. A resolution was passed unanimously, offering the services of the Battalion to go to the front. Rev. Mr. Piper, Chaplain of the Battalion, was the first Minister to offer his services to serve his country. There are sixty men at present camped at Cayuga, from all parts of the country, who have joined the Special Canadian Contingent for active service overseas. It is likely they will leave for Quebec on Wednesday. Major Kelly (who was in the Boer war) has offered his services to go with them. The Laurentia Milk Co., through Mr. James McGregor, has offered the boys three cases of milk for the journey, which was accepted.
