    Horse shoes and spur that were found during an archeological dig at one of Niagara’s Battlefields.

    There were several blacksmith shops in Iron Bridge from the early 1900's with the first one being built by James Forrest. Later Mr. Earnest Lizotte built another around 1915. Yet another early blacks
