    Condition: in poor condition; torn, stained, spotted with a very deep brown tone. Limit exposure and handling by using copy or digital copy.

    Condition: Fair. Image is dirty and matte is very worn.

    Condition: Fair to good. Do not handle unless necessary. Very yellow and has lost some contrast; plenty of dirt and stains on the surface.

    The Hermitage was the farm of William Nelles (1769-1850) and was built near the lake on Lot 6, Concession 1, in c.1800. Nelles was the brother of Robert Nelles and was also a Captain in the 4th Regim

    The Montgomery house and lot were bought in 1954 from Mr. Albert Wedgwood Lot 13 Con. M-212 Forest St.

    Condition: Good. Paper looks cyan in colour. Image is clear and brown in tone. Some scratches but they don't distort image too severely.
