    The first female member of Parliament, Anges Macphail is a local hero and an icon for women's rights even today.

    Most of these are small enough to classify as arrowheads; while the point on the bottom middle is too heavy and wide to have been used for an arrow.

    Used generally for functional construction (from bowls to canoes) this tool would be attached at a right angle to a wooden shaft and swung with the hand.

    The would typically be attached to a shaft and used to scrape fur off of a hide or the fatty tissue inside the skin.

    Found by Mr. Alistair Thomson in 1970 in the Boyne River valley in Flesherton.

    Most of these are too wide and heavy to be arrowheads and were most likely used on atlatl darts or spears 4,000 - 9,000 years ago.
