Today's highlights THE SUNRISE BREAKFASTS: OLA Board of Directors' honour Liz Kerr cited for distinguished service It's hard to know where to begin in listing the accomplishments of Elizabeth Kerr, winner of the 0 L A Distinguished Service Award. Brian Bell, 1998 OLA President, listed a few in the introduction to the award presentation during Thursday morning's plenary session. Elizabeth Kerr was and remains a catalyst for change with OSLA and OLA, she helped to develop advocacy kits, introduced technology to school boards and helped implement an information literacy task force . Elizabeth was miles ahead of her time, envisioning wide-area-networks in the 1970s. Elizabeth radiates energy and it's obvious she loves her work. "Together we are stronger, we will all see our dreams achieved," she said, accepting her award. Elizabeth Kerr serves as an inspiration to us all.
