To redeem your drink tickets at the EDU Reference All-Conference Reception at EXPO 2000 on Thursday and at the Libraries Advance Ontario Reception at the CN Tower on Friday, bartenders will be matching your ticket to your badge. Don't forget to wear it! Employers with positions to post are invited to use the message board in the Career Centre. Enquire about the OLA Job Hot Site while you are there. If you require interviewing space, please ask at the Centre. Convenors are obliged to close sessions that exceed capacity. Delegates unable to get into a session should choose from the twenty other sessions available in most time slots. CHANGES IN THE PROGRAM The Super Conference Daily Newsletter is the source of up-to-the-minute information on session and room changes, on new programs and on upcoming events. It is distributed at all morning sessions and is available at the Super Concierge and Registration Desks throughout the remainder of each day. ONE-ON-ONE CONSULTATION The Y2K Doctor's Desk at the OLA's activity area in EXPO 2000 provides advice on hardware and software problems experienced by libraries in the recent year turnover. Staffed by professional, you can often get fast answers, quick fixes, great referrals on other questions as well. Try the service. CAFE OLA The cafe will now include two work stations at which you can check your e-mail or browse the internet. There is real food at reasonable prices. And a more inviting place to meet with vendors and with your peers. MEETING ROOM LIMITATIONS CAREER CENTRE OLA's Career Centre at EXPO 2000 will launch our new resume databank. Practicing librarians from all types of libraries will be available to critique resumes and to answer questions about the library workplace. The work stations may be used for job searches; a selection of sites is recommended. The sizes of workshop session rooms have been chosen based on attendance indicators provided by delegates in pre-registration. Since delegates are not obligated to attend the sessions they indicate and since many do not fill out this section of the registration form, some rooms may unexpectedly prove inadequate to the demand. ONTARIO LIBRARY ASSOCIATION ACTIVITY AREA AT EXPO '99 If you have questions about your membership or about OLA programs and services, this is an excellent place to get answers. OLA Membership Coordinator Stephanie Parcher will be on hand to answer your questions.
