The ALA conference in his term was held in Toronto and for the occasion, he created a souvenir booklet called"Gossip!"These illustrations on the cover and the illustration for the"Taste of the Decades" reception appeared in this booklet. University of Guelph librarian Lome Bruce wrote an article about this pamphlet in the v. 5, no. 2 Winter 1999 issue of Access. It made for good reading and led to the decision to use the material here.
