In a time where innovation and creation accelerates how we work and live, pausing to examine the moment is a luxury most of us can not afford. Mark Kingwell, who*s latest work is a collection of essays titled Marginalia: A Cultural Reader, has stopped to explore and interpret the time we live in. Conference delegates who have read Kingwell*s commentaries and essays in The Globe and Mail, Saturday Night, Adbusters and Harper 's will recognize the authors uncanny ability to target the cultural implications of the *marginalia* we all live with from men*s underwear to the sitcom. Today*s session promises to inspire us to take a close look the challenges and consequences of the overwhelming abundance of information surrounding us.
