The person in the photo is Patrick Jones from Hennepin Country Library in Minnesota. He was a popular guru for teen services in libraries, doing frequent speaking engagements, and also an author of both professional literature and YA novels. When visiting Mississauga Central Library he joked that it was "Don Cherry's library" because of Cherry's sports bar that was once in the vicinity. Luckily for me, Patrick and I had dinner at the Irish pub Failte as Cherry's had closed by that time.
