The students are highly mo tivated and their level of understanding is much deeper than that of hi s own students. something incredible happens … He starts to wonder. can he get his student s to be more engaged i n the learning? can he give students more opportu nity to think critically, solve problems and work collaboratively? Is this inquiry stuff better tea ching practice? He's starting to think h e is a Progressive Teach er! He feels overjoyed! ad venturous! carefree! a live! scaredy school Teache r forgets all about his o ld plan book, not to men tion all his old unit tes ts.
