Ontario Ministry of Labour Announcement In the 2013 Ontario Budget, the government announced that it would establish an advisory panel to provide advice regarding future adjustments to Ontarioʼs minimum wage. The government is moving forward with implementing this commitment and has launched the Minimum Wage Advisory Panel. The panelʼs mandate is to examine Ontarioʼs minimum wage policy, and it will examine minimum wage models in other jurisdictions, as well as gather input from stakeholders and the public on the minimum wage and its impact on workers and business.
