When Canada Reads, Canada Grows! Ontario Tourism Signage - Opportunity to give feedback The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and the Ministry of Transportation have initiated a review of the Tourism-Oriented Directional Signing (TODS) program.
They are seeking feedback on the TODS program in order to continually improve the effectiveness of highway signing programs. They are also interested in gathering information on the broader topic of way-finding.
The ministry is interested in receiving feedback from all tourism stakeholders, including current participants as well as stakeholders who are not currently participating in the TODS program.
Please take a few minutes to complete the TODS Program Review Survey by October 31, 2013. www.surveymonkey.com/s/TODSReview You may also provide additional general feedback by submitting your comments to Tourism.Signs@Ontario.ca by Oct. 31. Please include TODS Program Review Feedback in the email subject line. For more information on the TODS program, please visit the MTCS website: www.mtc.gov.on.ca/en/tourism/tods.shtml Royal Society of Canada Expert Panel on 'The Status and Future of Canada's Libraries and Archives The Royal Society of Canada has established an eleven-member international expert panel to investigate the status and future of Canada's libraries and archives. A key element of the panel's work is to hear from Canadians about the value they place on libraries and archives, the services they receive and expect from these institutions, and the ways digital technology is transforming our knowledge universe. Similarly, the panel also wishes to hear from those professionals charged with delivering library, information, and archival services to Canadians, including what challenges (including delimiters) these professionals currently face in determining and then delivering the services expected by Canadians. The panel also aspires to hear from the community on matters that you believe are critical to the panel's understanding and mandate. Submission to the panel can be made by way of email attachment to Jessica MacQueen. The framing questions are on OLA's website. In-person consultations will be at the OLA Super Conference. Check the Super Conference program for details.
