McKay, a resident and native of Ottawa, comes to CLA/ACB with a strong background in national association leadership and management with an emphasis on advocacy, strategic planning, fundraising and membership development. Her experience includes executive directorships with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants and the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians. She has also worked for the Canadian Lung Association. McKay has also been an active volunteer with such organizations as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa, and the Ottawa International Jazz Festival. Notice of Release of the Ministry of Environment Annual Report on Drinking Water 2013 On December 19, 2013, Environment Minister Bradley released the 2013 Annual Report on Drinking Water. This report outlines how Ontario's award- winning safety net continues to protect drinking water and highlights the diligent work of ministry partners and staff to safeguard Ontario's drinking water. The report also includes a new section on the triennial report under the Water Opportunities Act. The Act, which came into effect in 2010, enabled the Ministry of Environment to develop innovative programs such as the Water Technology Acceleration Project and promote the efficient use of water while reducing negative impacts on Ontario's water resources. The Annual Report is available on the Ministry's website at www.ontario.ca/drinkingwater.
