The Canadian Urban Libraries Council Paper on eBooks and Public Libraries CULC/CBUC has released "eBooks in 2014: Access and Licensing at Canadian Public Libraries," a white paper that chronicles all that has happened from 2011 to 2014 and where public libraries currently sit in terms of access to eBook content and leading technology. It is the most up-to-date document of it's kind in Canada for public library perspectives. Introducing the Amnesty Book Club Amnesty International wants to partner with libraries across Canada to engage Canadians in reading good books and becoming more involved in human rights issues.
