If your library is hosting an event, here are the social media resources: #MyTownMondays: feature a different community each Monday participating in Culture Days with a link to the activities currently registered in that town. Posts are anchored with a public art pic to promote the idea of culture365 #HotTipTuesdays: link to a different Culture Days resource i.e., PR Toolkit, Venue finding Tip Sheet, etc. #ThrowBackThursdays: pics of Ontario Culture Days activities from the last 4 years #FeatureFridays: a different 2014 highlight activity each week #FollowFridays: Suggests groups and organizations to follow - usually with a theme (Ontario Dance companies participating in Culture Days, ASO's, etc.) Please share widely and comment on these posts to expand the Culture Days presence. Science Teachers' Association of Ontario (STAO/APSO) Science Conference November 13 - 15, 2014 The International Plaza, Toronto Airport Each November, the STAO2014 holds a Science Conference - this year, in Toronto. This conference provides illuminating workshops and information sessions for delegates as well as a large exhibit area. Over 100 booths are available and over 1,600 delegates attend the 3-day event. New this year, a new event, "Elementary Extravaganza," will be dediciated to Elementary teachers and Librarians from all subject areas. This event will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014.
