We are a voluntary association of professionals who share an interest in the provision of health information to the general public. LAC Evaluation and Acquisition Policy Framework Library and Archives Canada (LAC) has revised its Evaluation and Acquisition Policy Framework. This version supersedes the previous 2012 Framework as well as the Policy on Evaluation and the Policy on Acquisition. The renewed framework is the result of joint efforts across LAC and was validated in consultation with external partners. It captures and supports the current LAC Acquisition Strategy 2016-2019 with the guiding principles of national significance, collaboration, representativeness, expertise-based and complementarity.
