We partnered with the Federation of Ontario Public Libraries (FOPL) to submit an idea to Ontario's Budget Talks that focuses on improving Internet access in libraries in rural, northern and Indigenous communities. We're thrilled to announce that, out of 400 submissions, our idea was selected as one of 17 finalists! We need your help to make our budget idea a reality. Of the 17 finalists, the eight ideas with the most votes will be part of the upcoming 2017 budget. Help us spread the word and get Ontarians to vote through social media, web widgets, collaboration with your local media, and more. Access our DropBox folder for unique images and web widgets you can use. Visit Ontario.ca/Budgettalks to vote for your three favourite ideas until midnight, Feb. 23. We also invite you to share this idea with your networks (anyone in Ontario can vote!) to increase our idea's vote count. Voting is open to the general public; you must register to vote. https://survey.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6fCc4Axb7fUSCDX http://cfla-fcab.ca/en/advocacy/2016-resources-and-policy-challenges-survey/ http://fopl.ca/news/fopl-discount-ischool-symposium-ux-design-customer-engagement-mar-2-3/ http://www.librarytechandthefuture.org/ https://talks.ontario.ca/project/expanding-connectivity-rural-northern-and-indigenous-communities https://www.dropbox.com/sh/dzhghddil2ye9pm/AADOdDRrNATntuUYI57uklnLa?dl=0 https://talks.ontario.ca/
