What is a project with provincial impact? Projects with provincial impact are those that reach a minimum of three catchments, or two if one catchment is in the North (that includes the Northwestern - Algoma, Cochrane, Manitoulin, Sudbury - Muskoka, Nipissing, Parry Sound, Timiskaming catchments). The criteria for this program is the same as for the Grow Investment Stream, except for the scope, reach and impact of the project. APPLY TODAY >> Attention Ontario Public and First Nation Libraries: Improving Library Digital Services (ILDS) Fund Grant On June 22, the Ministry announced a $3 million investment through the ILDS fund that will support up to 307 libraries and library organizations across the province. The ILDS fund will improve digital resources and services in provincially funded public and First Nation public libraries to better connect people to web-based information and opportunities. To meet local needs, the program may support Wi-Fi hot spot lending programs, hardware and software resources, and technology-focused training opportunities. Libraries received notice in early September.
