Canada Comics Open Library (CCOL) is a non-profit and volunteer-run comics library located in Regent Park, Toronto. Their mission is to help make comics more accessible while increasing the representation of marginalized communities in comics, with a focus on BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour), LGBTQ+, disabled, and women creators. They are working to achieve our mission through our library collection and space, online resources, and community events. Some of CCOL goals this year are: If they raise $5,537, they can… • Continue to be a free/PWYC resource in the cozy CSI Regent Park lounge • Make the collection circulating so you can take home comics, graphic novels, and zines! If they raise more than that, they can... • Host more free community events and workshops • Pay artists for project collaborations • and lots more! Learn more about the campaign and how you can help here. FIND OUT MORE >> The Young Canada Works 2020 Campaign is Under Way!
