We are mere weeks away from Super Conference 2020, and we are counting down the days! Here are some of the things we are feeling excited about: School Library Bus Tour Ever wondered about what a school library within a Children's Hospital looks like? Bloorview School Authority provides innovative school programs to children and youth with special needs in conjunction with ongoing therapeutic and medical care from K- 12. Disability awareness, equity, and self-advocacy are the cornerstones of the LLC. This tour will also be stopping at Forest Hill Collegiate, a recently revitalized LLC that reflects a deep commitment to the principles of equity and anti-oppression. Public Library Bus Tour This year we are heading to Brampton! Springdale Branch opened in 2018, and is an award-winning LEED Gold building that is already a destination, attracting large audiences for programs and high demand for study space. This tour will also visit Chinguacousy Library in the Brampton Civic Centre, which includes an audio recording studio, a self-directed makerspace, and is the home to their annual Tech Fair. Unconference Centre This year, the lobby at Super Conference is going to look a bit different. Right in the centre of the MTCC lobby, you will see our brand new Unconference Centre. We have programmed this new space loosely, but also welcome attendees to use the space to gather for informal chats on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information and the topic schedule, visit our website. Treasure Mountain Canada Treasure Mountain Canada (TMC) is a school library learning commons research symposium and think tank. TMC registration includes full days on Friday and Saturday, https://fmdoc.org/?page_id=7292 https://fmdoc.org/?page_id=7292 mailto:mbrule@fmdoc.org https://www.olasuperconference.ca/ https://www.olasuperconference.ca/whats-happening/unconference-centre/ https://tmc.canadianschoollibraries.ca/
