"They handle things with less prejudice," she explains. By working with different materials, developing a broader vocabulary, making a project â€" simply finding other ways to say things, kids can identify more with the contemporary artist and hopefully that rubs off on the parâ€" ents. It‘s an agenda that can be frusâ€" trating at times but Perinet hopes new initiatives implemented will result in more letters of support and more people asking informed, interesting questions.
