The Blue Devils, on the other hand, have yet to beat Scarborough Malvern in four tries this year. Malvern are the defending national champions (winning the underâ€"15 title last year) and are the fourâ€"time provincial champions. But Oakville will go into the game armed with the knowledge that in the last outing (a regular seaâ€" son game), they managed to tie them 2â€"2, and nearly won after being ahead 2â€"0. Oakville dropped the first three encounters in two tournaments in Scarborough and East York. Either way, it‘s sure to be an exciting game with the two teams, between them, fielding nine nationâ€" al team players. Oakville advanced to this weekâ€" end‘s Ontario Cup with a 2â€"0 win over Pickering Power last Sunday. The two Oakville players are Danny Gallagher and Paul Hayward. It was "a tough, physical game that Oakville was forced to play because of Pickering‘s tactics of close marking and intimidating play," said coach Phil Iafrate. He pegged goalkeeper Peter Eskit and coâ€"captains Danny Gallagher and Matt Pittman as well as David Crane as being "outstandâ€" ing on defence."
