Velebit hopes to play giant killer The Oakville Velebit soccer club is on the verge of making the playoffs in their first year in the Ontario Soccer League‘s premier division. The top four teams in the 10â€" team league make the playoffs, and although Oakville, which plays Saturday night in Peterborough, currently sits in fifth place, they still have three more games left to play (which is more than most of the other challengers) before the season wraps up next weekend. The first of those games â€" on Tuesday night, 8 p.m. at Bronte Athletic Field against Woodbridge â€" could very well turn out to be the highlight of the regular season.
