The oldest vehicle will be used for the Grade 3 program where each child receives a coloring/activities book, and a crossword puzzle based on information found in this book. ‘We Can Help‘ was instigated by )r. Second runnerâ€"up was ‘Heals on Wheels‘ from Erin Rogers of Sunningdale School; third was ‘FRED‘ (Free Rescue Every Day) from Giulia Gerri of St. Matthew‘s School; and hauorable mention goes to Whitney Lancaster of Sheridan School for *M.P. In order to resume the ‘We Can 'Help’ program , "we decided to make one of our ambulances more recognizable to the children," said Hull. Hence, the ‘Name the Ambulance‘ contest was held. "We started the program with two volunteers, and had to recruit another four. We had three grandâ€" mothers, two grandfathers, and one mother." They were Dr. Frank Inyidiata, Laura Alleyne, Cynthia Thorpe, Brenda Love, Marilyn Noble, and Claude Therrien. Part of the program included takâ€" ing the children on a tour through the ambulance.
