18 - The Oakville Beaver, Friday May 5, 2006 Halton Police Day May 13: The Halton Regional Police Service welcomes the public to its 7th Annual Police Day, set for Saturday, May 13 at Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Rd. This is a one of a kind festival for the entire community to enjoy a celebration of policing in Halton. It will be a fun, family oriented event which showcases the many police units and bureaus plus community partnerships and programs of the Halton Regional Police Service. Halton Children's Aid Foundation hosts Stardust Gala May 13 The Children's Aid Foundation of Halton is hosting its annual Stardust Gala on Saturday, May 13 in support of enhancing the lives of abused and neglected children living in the Region of Halton. Guests attending this year's gala will be greeted by a champagne reception and given the opportunity to take part in a silent auction, followed by dinner, a live auction and dancing.
