Geoff Coulson, a warning preparedness meteorologist, said there were two "unconfirmed" reports of funnel cloud sightings in Oakville at around 1:30 p.m. along Lake Ontario. He added there are about 14 confirmed tornadoes in Ontario annually. "(Monday's) sightings are a reminder of that," he said.
