The raid stemmed from an investigation undertaken earlier in the year by Halton Regional Police into an Oakville resident who was suspected of operating cannabis marihuana grow labs. The information obtained during the investigation resulted in a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant, which was executed at 2111 Roche Cres. in Mississauga. Police discovered 410 marihuana plants in various stages of growth as well as a quantity of growing equipment. The 28-year-old Oakville resident has been charged with production of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking. The Halton Regional Police Service is continuing to investigate this incident.
