"Everyone had so much fun, so we're doing it again, but we are adding new things to keep people coming back for more." In addition to the fun aspects, ODHS will also have information on its many programs and two displays specifically targeting Town-funded initiatives, Smart Pet Owners Tag (SPOT) ­ a program that encourages responsible pet ownership, and There's No Place Like Home ­ promoting the health benefits of keeping your cats indoors. "It's so important to keep your pets safe and sound. We see so many cat losses or injuries that could have been avoided if they remained inside... and so many happy stories of dogs being reunited with their owners because they were licensed," stresses Golder.
