The challenge was that for every dollar raised and every pound of food collected, the Roozens would match it three-to-one. With facilities in Edmonton Alberta, Oakville and Orillia, Ontario and Greensburg, Indiana, a combined total of $8,924 was raised and 3,533 lbs of food collected. That made the total $46,295.00 and 3,533 lbs. of food to be donated to the four food banks. Here, the Roozens hand over the Oakville bounty -- $5,404 and 900 lbs. of food -- to Dudley Clarke, volunteer director of Oakville's Fareshare Food Bank located at 1240 Speers Rd., Unit 6.
