The gala will be at the Operating Engineers Banquet Hall and Conference Centre, 2245 Speers Rd. Dress is formal and the featured entertainer will be Jimmy Young and the Michael Keys Band. Tickets cost $65 in advance only. A cocktail reception with a cash bar will open at 6:30 p.m. followed by a silent auction, dinner, live entertainment and dancing to a DJ. Halton is one of 25 walks hosted by the ALS Society of Ontario. Now in its eighth year, the WALK for ALS raises money for people with ALS and their families.
