Selling Brantwood, Linbrook, Chisholm and New Central schools, plus government funding received for creating smaller class sizes, is expected to fetch $17 million, resulting in a $2 million gain for the board. While trustees refrained from discussing the options Joudrie again voiced disappointment with some of the tactics being used by local groups to promote their agendas. Joudrie singled out postings on myoakville.org as a particular concern. "The website had an Internet petition as one of its facilities and someone or some group of people used trustees' names and officials' names, including my own, to register on the petition with some misleading information," said Joudrie. "When we became aware of that we notified the ISP (Internet Service Provider) and had them remove the erroneous information." While Joudrie later said that the comments attributed to him were so bizarre they were clearly meant as a joke, he also pointed out that no one should be using the names of trustees or school board officials without approval.
