Born February 18, 1924 in Creemore Ontario, he is predeceased by a daughter (Sally), a brother (Ray) and sister (Bernice). Harry is lovingly remembered by his dear wife Ver na, partner for 61 years. Wonderful father to children and spouses Susan and Lynn, Janet and Greg, Sandi and Jim, Jim and Lisa, Dave and Brenda. Sadly missed by grandchildren; Brandon, Harrison, Carson, Luke, Kaeli, Jordan, Chr istopher, Keegan, Shawna and Krista. Harry Madill will always be a par t of the hear t, mind and soul of Oakville. His tireless efforts building Madill Pharmacy will be remembered forever. We were proud of his accomplishments and enjoyed his war time stories as a member of the Royal Canadian Air force during WWII. He was an avid golfer, sports enthusiast, community-based Pharmacist and an incredibly generous father throughout his life and was adored by all of us Harry was also a long standing-member of the Oakville Golf Club and may he forever enjoy the green grass of God's golf courses in heaven. Dad, your spirit will live forever in all of our hearts. Visitation will take place at the Glen Oaks Reception Centre, 3164 9th Line (at Dundas), Oakville 902-2578822 on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Tuesday at 1:00 pm. Donations to the Alzheimers Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family. Pre-deceased by her husband of 45 years, Gordon Matthew Carnall. Beloved mother of Doug Carnall (Oakville) and Chr is Naslen (Toronto), mother-in-law of Jan Car nall (née Munroe) and John Naslen, grandmother of Alex and William Carnall (Oakville), aunt to Linda Gardner (née Carnall) of Baden, ON and Sheila Carnall of Kingston, ON. Joan's career as a medical secretary in the Oakville and Clar kson area spanned many years, where she made numerous friends and acquaintances through her work in that field. She was actively involved in her children's musical endeavours and made many more friends among the young people in the Oakville area and beyond as a result. Joan was an avid indoor horticulturalist, animal and bird lover, and was known to many over the years for her pursuits in those interests. An avid Blue Jays fan, she would follow every Jays game broadcast on radio or television as closely as she would follow the baseball pursuits of her two grandsons, Alex and William. Her personal sense of style combined with her interest in everyone she met exemplified her joy in life and will be remembered and cherished forever. In accordance with her wishes, a private family memorial was held following cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Oakville Humane Society. Daughter of Frederick and Margaret Orton, she came to Canada, as a war bride in 1946.
