This year's gala will feature the full spectrum of synchronized skating, from the Oakville Edge Intro-to-Synchro squads to the internationally-ranked Nexxice team. Along with its three Intro-to-Synchro teams, the Edge also features pre-juvenile, juvenile and novice teams. The novice team earned silver in pre-novice competition at this year's regionals, which is the highest level of competition in Festival Synchro, and was honoured at last month's Oakville Sports Council Recognition Awards. The novices are currently world bronze medallists. A team of skaters' fathers, titled `Oakville Edgeless', will also take to the ice at the gala. Shows will be held at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m. Tickets are $7 in advance or $10 at the door.
