The shopping centre is hosting the second annual 3 on 3 Charity Basketball Tournament in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton. The event is scheduled for Sunday, May 31. The tournament is open to all that enjoy playing basketball. Teams are made up of five members, allowing teams to sub players when necessary. The tournament is limited to 36 teams, with age divisions including boys' 13-under, girls' 13-under, boys' 1418, girls' 14-18, and open (adults or mixed age groups). Olympia Sports Camp is the event's main sponsor. Corporate sponsorships are also available for $500 a court, or sponsors can contribute water, hats, T-shirts and other prizes.
