Gardeners are looking to the internet and published literature for "home brewed" alternative pest control solutions. Others look to using gasoline or kerosene to rid their properties of annoying weeds. Risks include: · Inhalation of toxic fumes tered under the Pest Controls Act with Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) Legally approved solutions are available. The Scotts EcoSense line up of products includes a natural lawn fertilizer, ready-to-use weed and insect control sprays, slug and snail baits and yellow jacket pheromone traps.
