Oakville snapped a three-game losing streak Friday with a 6-3 victory over the Hamilton Bengals, then downed the previously-undefeated Windsor AKO Fratmen 11-7 Saturday. The wins improved the Buzz to 6-4, good for fourth in the competitive South West Division. Oakville is two points behind St. Catharines for third, but has a game in hand on the Spartans. Mark White sparked the Buzz Friday with a hat trick. Spencer Gallant, Connor Gamble and Nick Soubry also tallied for the Buzz, which scored the first five goals of the game. After posting a 6-5 come-from-behind victory over the St. Catharines Metros Thursday, the A's returned home Monday and dropped a 1-0 decision to the 2-4 Glanbrook Grizzlies at Oakville Park. Oakville's bats were held in check Monday by Glanbrook lefty Mike Czerwieniek, who carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning and allowed only two hits over seven frames.
