With final grade averages over 90 per cent in all their Grade 11 and 12 courses, the seven students are being recognized as the highest-graded graduates at each of their respective schools. The 2009 recipients for the Halton Catholic District School Board are: Nicole Khosla (St. Thomas Aquinas -- 96.43 per cent), Tamara Gimon (Notre Dame -- 96.25 per cent), Sandra Rajic (St. Ignatius of Loyola -- 95.44 per cent), Brigitte Babin (Christ the King -- 95.33 per cent), Michal Chwalek (Bishop Reding -- 94.1 per cent), Alexandra Gatza (Assumption -- 94 per cent) and Marco Caglioti (Holy Trinity -- 92.7 per cent). "Our board is very proud of the high academic achievements of these students," said Michael Pautler, director of education. "This medal of recognition is indicative of the many great accomplishments that these fine examples of Catholic graduates have made during their high school careers and will continue to make to society."
