The Canadian Cancer Society is calling all dogs, dog owners and dog lovers to help take a bite out of cancer on Sunday, Sept. 20 at Pilgrim's Park, located at 1551 Pilgrim's Way, for the 2009 Paws for Hope trail walk-athon. The fun will get underway at 9:30 a.m. with participant registration, a warmup with Vicki Sutkowski of For the Love of Hope Dog Massage and Stretching and a special ceremony to honour the life-long contribution of canine caregivers. Putting in an appearance will be Clifford, the Big Red Dog, as he joins the event for a special meet-andgreet session.
