Town going to the dogs for Paws for Hope This September, Oakville will once again be going to the dogs. The Canadian Cancer Society is calling all dogs, dog owners and dog lovers to help take a bite out of cancer on Sunday, Sept. 20 at Pilgrim's Park, located at 1551 Pilgrim's Way, for the 2009 Paws for Hope trail walk-athon. The fun will get underway at 9:30 a.m. with participant registration, a warmup with Vicki Sutkowski of For the Love of Hope Dog Massage and Stretching and a special ceremony to honour the life-long contribution of canine caregivers. Putting in an appearance will be Clifford, the Big Red Dog, as he joins the event for a special meet-andgreet session.
