Oakville posted three wins and two draws in its first five games, posting shutouts in each. The Fury needed only a tie in its final game to clinch first in its pool and advance to the second round. The Fury opened the tournament with an 8-0 rout of the Eastern Barbarians. Oakville captain Caroline Yurchuk led the offense with three goals, while CarolAnn Carbone and Gloria Sdao supplied two each. Lisa Husar had the other Fury goal. After playing BC United to a scoreless draw, the Fury downed the Suncoasters 3-0 with two goals from Kathi Dryburgh and a single from Linda Thompson. Oakvile again pounded on the Eastern Barbarians, winning 70. Carbone had two goals and Jodi Clark, Husar, Yurchuk, Sdao and Thompson chipped in with one apiece. The Fury then posted its second scoreless draw with BC United. Lisa Holtshousen earned the shutout in all five games for Oakville. Oakville dominated the U11 Second Division all season, finishing with 13 wins, three ties and one loss. The team earned promotion to the higher, more competitive league for next season. The team was also a finalist in the U11 Division 1 and 2 League Cup. Members of the team, sponsored by Maple Leaf and Soccer World, are Ryan Collins, Michael Pupulin, Nicholas Casola, Connor Martin, Aidan Wood, Peter Mazur, Seihun Kim, Henry Luel, Ben Perrais, Josh Widman, Quinn McCleary, Marko Vidovich, Bailey Newton, Joaquin Torres, and Alex Zis.
