Jail-N-Bail Friday at Oakville Place This Friday, Oct. 23, Oakville's Most Wanted will be doing some time for a good cause at the 2009 Canadian Cancer Society Jail-N-Bail. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., felons of all ages will parade through Oakville Place Shopping Mall in their jailbird stripes with their final stop being the Canadian Cancer Society's makeshift jail at centre court. The jailbirds will be greeted by Halton Regional Police officers who will assist them in turning over their personal belongings as well as taking a copy of their fingerprints and a mug shot. Jailbirds like Jill Davis, editor-inchief for the Halton Division of Metroland Media Group, will then be brought before celebrity judges, which include, Oakville MPP Kevin Flynn and Oakville MP Terence Young. The judges will review each jailbird's set of humorous charges and set bail for each perpetrator. The felons will then go back to jail and try to scare up bail money.
