The White Oaks graduate, who now attends Seneca College, skipped a Peterborugh team of Lauren Wasylkiw, Genevieve Bernier, and Stephanie Thompson to a 2-5 mark at the Ontario Junior Curling Championships earlier this month in Teeswater. Last season, the same players represented the Oakville Curling Club and advanced to the junior championships for the first time, finishing out of the medals. "The provincials this year were a great learning experience," Lindsay said. "We had a lot of great, close games. (Even with) the close games, we always fell on the short side of the stick. It seemed even when we were curling our absolute best, the other team would rise on top of us." Lindsay -- who began curling at the Oakville Curling Club 12 years ago -- said the team played one of its best games in an 11-8 last-end loss to Rachel Homan's Ottawa team, which went on to win the provincial title for the second straight year. "It was a very close game and I was told by people after the game that it was one of the best junior games played this year," Lindsay said. "We were down a bunch of points and then came back to make her throw her last rock of the game to win. We both made very tough shots and it was an awesome game to play." Who Does It...
