Flapjack Olympics on this month at Mountsberg Conservation Halton invites everyone to enjoy the coming of spring with sweet maple syrup or just to learn how it's made. Mountsberg's Maple Towne and Crawford Lake's Sweet Water Season runs until April 5. During this time people will be able to eat pancakes with maple syrup or learn how syrup is made from sap, both through traditional and modern methods. Maple products will be available for sale and there will be fun activities for children and families. Mountsberg is also running wagon ride tours of the sugar bush and this Sunday it's holding the Flapjack Olympics where people can compete in sugar bush events or see how high they can stack their pancakes. Admission charges for either location are $6.50 for adults, $5.50 for seniors, $4.50 for children five to 14 and free to children four and under. Wagon rides are $3 for adults, $2.50 for seniors and $2 for children. Mountsberg is located in Campbellville and Crawford Lake is located in Milton.
