Trevor Campbell will perform tracks from the Little Thieves album at The Rivoli. "The songs hold such meaning for me," stated Campbell, in a press release. "Not only because of what I felt when I was writing, but also because of everyone who has engaged with the music and brought to each song their own meanings and experiences. I'm so happy to bring these tracks together in this way, and so proud of the album." The 26-year-old will be joined by an entire band including Danielle Getz on backing vocals, James Everett on bass, Liam Montgomery on drums/percussion, Kelly Lefaive on violin, Mariel Gonzalez on cello, and Daniel Abrahamson on keyboard. Special guest musicians will include Allison Long and Sara Kamin. Campbell grew up in Oakville. He attended Holy Family and St. Marguerite D'Youville elementary schools and St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, before attending Sheridan College Institute of Techology and Advanced Learning. He lived in Oakville until about three years ago. He's also a stage actor who has regularly appeared in well received musicals including Funny Business -- The Musical, which was a hit at the Toronto Fringe Festival. The album was recorded at a Toronto bar called The Concord Café. "We rented out the bar and set up a studio in the back because I loved the acoustics and it was such a sentimental space for me," Campbell said. The Concord Café is one of the venues in which he has performed. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m. at The Rivoli. Tickets cost $15 at the door or $20 with a copy of the new album.
