Three local schools win pennants at Watson meet New Central, Munn's and Abbey Lane each won division pennants at the Halton District School Board's elementary Watson track-and-field meet recently in Burlington. New Central took the junior boys' title, Munn's won the intermediate girls' crown and Abbey Lane claimed the senior boys' pennant at the meet, which also included Brookdale, two Burlington schools and two schools from north Halton. Burlington's Kilbride was the big winner at the meet, winning the other three pennants and the overall championship.
