Tall ship cruises are taking place this Friday and Saturday on the Empire Sandy. Tickets are still available for the lunch and dinner buffet cruises of Lake Ontario. The exhibit is free. Bronte's Harbour Day Contest is also taking place. Participating Bronte retailers will offer customers a chance to win thousands of dollars worth in prizes. There are 40 businesses participating and customers have a chance to win gift certificates to places such as spa and beauty treatments, restaurants, apparel and home décor. A sidewalk sale is also taking place this weekend, running from Friday to Sunday. Furthermore, there will be music in the streets during the Taking it to the Streets music program.
