On Tuesday night, at the first all-candi- dates debate of the 2010 municipal election, it was Mayor Burton, who found himself in the hot seat defending his record against three challengers, including Mulvale. Despite the evenings heavy rain, the meeting, which was hosted by the Oakville Chamber of Commerce, attracted more than 400 people to Glen Abbey United Church to see the mayoral candidates Burton, Mulvale, John McLaughlin and Raymond Ray square off.
