HUGHES, Helen (nee Shields) At York Centra l Hospi ta l on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late James Al lan Hughes. Loving mother to JoAnne Hill and James (Susan) Hughes. Grand- mother to Christopher. Survived by her s is ter Margare t Roy o f London and brother Ted (Joan) Shields of Oakville. Fondly remembered by many n ieces and nephews. 1946 Toronto Western Graduate and former Head Nurse 2nd floor North at St. John's Convalescent Hospital in Willowdale. A special thanks to the caring staff at Delmanor, to Susan Roy who was l ike a daughter to Helen, and to Ted and Joan who were with us at the end.
