The position is for a two-year term. Weinberger began her teaching career in 1976. With the Halton board she has worked in classrooms from Kindergarten to Grade 8, in guidance and as a teacher librarian. fShe joined the Halton local o ETFO in 1998 and was its president from 2002 to 2008.
